Prof. Candice Waters –
We bought the size medium for our 2 adult cats, but needed to trim them down just a bit so they could fully retract their claws with the nail guards on. I put them on while the cats were napping, and it was easy-peasy! One cat has managed to pull the guards off her thumbs, but she doesn’t seem to mind the rest of them. Be careful with the glue though, and only fill the nail guards 1/3 full, or you’ll end up getting in on their skin/fur. Overall, very pleased with these. Now it doesn’t hurt at all when my kitty is making biscuits on me! Haha

I’m in loooooove! Great idea. I started my kitty at two months and I was able to place them. She turned 3.5 months and all kitty hell broke loose, still I overcame the hell to move into heaven… I MUST give you my tips, and I got some from reading the reviews.1. Cut the caps, use only about 2/3 of it, don’t be afraid to cut them, you want them to cover the nail “tip”. Cut them all before starting.2. Use some other strong glue, and just put a drop in.3. 2 people needed, one to hold the kitty and one to put the caps… now, here we have a few things to say, perhaps wrapping the kitty and taking one paw out at the time is a good idea, you might need to do one paw every hour if you get my meaning. You know your cat better than anybody and as I said mine is going ballistics at this time of her life. She is 4 months now and whenever she is at the vets she is always a bit scare so she is attached to me and “easier to handle”. Well… I decided to take her to a groomer. The logistic with the groomer was that I hold her and she worked the caps. Saphira (that is my kitty) was “still” because she wasn’t comfortable in the environment and the caps were “easy to place”, and are better than ever, I believe that in part because she allowed me to hold her until I felt they were dry enough. The first ones I got were for kittens. Now I got small and they fit great.I’ll try to post pics of Saphira.Good Luck!
