My dog has major allergies and giving a bath every other day was too much. Having this ointment has been so helpful!!! We love the ointment!! It works great!! Now we use it in between baths and after dry from a bath! I am having to bath her much less frequently thanks to this ointment!!

… as this is more of a cream – a blue goo that you can apply to the skin. It is NOT greasy and is absorbed right away, but the cream is thinner than you might expect and you’ll need to be careful with the application. Good product, but the naming/labeling is not exactly right.

My tortie princess Mia had a huge scab on her face and a small one under her ear. I have no idea how she got it and it was barely visible because of where is was and her coat pattern but it felt like a big lump with a scab on top. I had been using antibiotic ointment on it and it wasn’t improving at all after almost a week, so I decided to give this a shot. I have used chlorhexidine wipes and rinse in the past and I know it’s great for treating a multitude of things, so I was hopeful. I applied it only once a day and within 1 day the scab under her ear was 80% gone and after 3 days the one on her face was probably 70% improved. This will definitely be my go to product for when they get scratches or sore spots. I also like how thick and goopy it is, because it stayed on the wound much better than a regular ointment. It was also easier to apply than an ointment because it got into the nooks and crannies of the wound much better.

It’s magic! It worked within 48 hours! DEFINITELY recommend this product! It DID NOT transfer any color like other reviewers stated. Of course the q-tip looked blue, but it doesn’t turn anything blue when applied or blue when in contact with any material. The most important thing to remember (because I’m a nurse) is not to cross contaminate the original container!! i.e. don’t double dip with the same finger or applicator because of the transference of bacteria which compromises the entire container. I scooped a little out, then applied it with q-tips.
