I got these for my cat and kitten. They were both attaching themselves to the couch and trying to sharpen their nails on the sides of my brand-new couch. I started seeing strings come out of the couch. these cat nail caps definitely work. They lasted about some days on them, because they kept trying to pull them off with their teeth. Occasionally I would have to glue another on their nail because it fell off. After a while, they got used to them.
