This toy only does the laser light, but it does that pretty well. It’s simple and easy to work, and the kittens enjoy it. The pattern varies quite a bit which keeps them engaged. Maybe not for super long periods, but it does amuse them for awhile. It’s also a quiet toy which is kind of nice. (Some of the other devices we have make a lot of noise.) It can tip over, but that doesn’t seem to happen often, maybe because the focus is on following the light rather than capturing the device itself. And it seems solid, not that fragile. For a price point of just under $14, I think it’s a good buy.

The media could not be loaded.From the moment I opened up this awesome toy, my 1-year old cat has just been mesmerized and in love. I have a few cats and there are times when I am too busy to play with them. Usually right after I feed them, they are bursting with energy, and I try to spend at least 10 minutes playing with them. What I do sometimes instead now is turn on the laser toy and it keeps them running and jumping and excited for a long time! I understand that people want the laser to last much longer, but I actually like that it shuts itself off, especially since the cat gets tired or bored after some time. I like that it doesn’t have wires so that my cat can run freely without worry of tripping on it. It’s a cute design and it is very silent. I love this product and so do my cats, even if they just watch it and don’t move an inch, haha.

This is a great cat toy, keeps her busy, she is older and needs the exercise, this is perfect. Battery seems to last long. No remote control but does shut off in 15 minutes, which is about the time she is tired. I bought another kind that shoots laser beam way out, however my cat loves this more as it goes around.
