Before buying these scissors I looked at many others and read numerous customer reviews. While there were many less expensive options out there, the Ed Geib’s had the best reviews. I decided to make the investment as I groom my 4 pound malti-poo at home. I love these scissors! They cut through the hair with great ease. I also really liked the curved edge as opposed to the straight edge as I do not worry about inadvertently nicking my little guy. The curve also easily allows me to get into curves of the body that I could not neatly groom without these curved scissors. I HIGHLY recommend this product. Excellent price point and performance.

These curved shears are well made and worth the price, which isn’t a lot when you consider the range of prices for quality shears. For a at home groomer they are an good investment. The seller responded to my question very quickly as well as shipped them out quickly.Interesting observation I will share. These are right handed shears. I had it in my head/mind that the reason for curved shears would be to trim/clip the dogs hair (such as the top knot on a poodle) in my right hand and that the tip/point of the shears would curve away from the dog.These are curved so that the curve/point is towards the dog when held in the right hand. Your pinky finger will rest on the little finger rest when used in this orientation.Regardless if used in the right or left hand these are right handed shears. I can flip them around to have the point face up towards the ceiling, but the pinky rest is then on top and not useable. Not a huge issue, but if explaining this helps someone, as it would of me, I’m putting it in the review. I haven’t used them much but did test clip with them. They are sharp and clearly better quality than the $14-$40 range shears.

I needed lefty shears for some time but most of them are unaffordable for a pet owner who does her own grooming.Not so these shears they are truly top quality and affordable. Good shears are a must in poodle grooming and these Geib shears are the best as far as I am concerned. and these shears fit my The weight of them feels just right when I am cutting. I am going to get he Crocodile 10 inch shears to use for finishing shears as soon as I can find them for Lefties.
