As stated in the name, this is a large condo! Panels are cardboard (which means they will flex a bit if your kitty lays up against the inside), but this doesn’t detract from the overall sturdiness once set up. The unique feature of this condo is the box-like lid with the recess for the included padded bed (the bed can also be used downstairs on the inside). The lid adds needed rigidity to the condo. The bolstered, padded bed insert entices kitties to lay up top and the removable feature allows for cleaning. The fabric covering of the condo seems durable but its softness and flexibility make setup a bit more challenging than it seems it should; the (typical) folding walls seem floppier than most and don’t firm up/stabilize until assembly is complete) . Because of its spaciousness and large opening, this is a good condo for a birthing and nursing kitten hutch.

The media could not be loaded.When I first got it, kitty ignored it for a few weeks. I thought it was a bust, but it looked nice and it wasn’t in the way, so I left it where it was. So glad I did because one day he just crawled in and fell in love with it! Now it’s his favorite place to hang out.I had the first one for 3 years but just bought another to encourage him to spend time in more rooms. It’s light, easy to set up and break down, while still being quite sturdy. It comes with a thin liner and a thicker cushion and you can interchange them depending on which one you want inside the cube vs on top. The cushion is washable and when it gets too beat up to wash you can buy a reasonably priced replacement cushion separately. (Kitty City Replacement Cushion in gray) Can’t ask for more convenience than that!My cat is a medium/large guy, 12.5 lbs and has plenty of room. He loves to climb in and make biscuits and then he spends the day with his head poking out and one paw casually draped on the edge of the opening while he surveys his domain. Super adorable. One of the best purchases I’ve made for him and glad we persevered and didn’t toss it when he didn’t take to it right away.

A little expensive but well worth the price!We bought two cubes and stacked them. They are perfect!We have two cats who loved the cubes the minute we put them together!They are stable! Both cats are full grown are able to lay comfortably.Just the right height so our cats can sit at the top and look out the window!All of your products are so clever. Easy to put together. And pretty!Please note: The cushions had a bit of a “funky” smell to them. We washed them with a half cup of baking soda and the smell is gone! After throwing them in the washer and dryer, they still look like new!Thank you!!!
