I’ve tried other cones, but this is the only style my dog tolerates. It was so hard to find, but I’m so thankful I did!! Our previous come from a VCA vet was literally falling apart from the years of use. Putting this cone on on over my dog’s head feels similar for her to putting on her harness, so she actually helps me put it on! This cone is also lightweight, comfortable, durable, and has adjustable tightness. My dog freaks out in other cones, especially the plastic ones which are truly just too heavy for her, but she plays and naps and acts normal in this style!

This cone has been a great alternative to the old rigid, plastic “elizabethan collars” for our cat, who has severe allergies that cause him to chew his belly until it is raw. He can eat, drink, sleep comfortably, and utilize the litter box while wearing this cone. He occasionally uses the edge of it to scratch his belly, but it prevents him from getting his mouth on it.

Good product, that works pretty well. Even when left alone overnight our cat only managed to remove the collar once and she’s pretty persistent. Our cat seemed to prefer this soft cone over the onesies we got her. I do wish this was available with overnight delivery as it is the sort of thing you need immediately in an emergency. Hope your cat recovers as well as ours has.
