This blade fit my Oster A-5 clippers perfectly. When I took the old blade off, which was not cutting anymore and was pulling hair, I found a lot of hair under the old blade and I cleaned that area really good and put the new blade on and it cut perfectly. I decided to take the new blade off and try the old blade again since I had cleaned all the hair out, just to see if it might work again with the area clean. Well the old blade is cutting perfectly again. I have decided to keep the new blade just in case I need it, but so far the old blade is working fine. Apparently all I needed to do was to take the old blade off and clean all the hair that had accumulated under the blade.

Oster CryogenX Professional Animal Clipper Blade, Size # 15I groomed my poodles feet clean with this blade and it was great at removing most of her hair on her feet. I don’t see much difference in cutting then the original blades, but I hope that they will not dull as quickly. Time will tell me if they do! I purchased this #15 blade to use with my A-5 Professional clippers which I have had since about 1996! Having learned how to groom in a grooming school (1996) I do not find it hard to groom, as I do not consider myself novice. I prefer Oster products then other grooming companies! Oh, just to let you know I live in CA and I could not find a pet store which sold these blades, which I found odd, since it was the clipper of choice for durability and long lasting product for many professional groomers back in the day! I would recommend all Oster products as they are all quality products!
