This comb works remarkably well with our long-hair cat. When we first opened the comb I thought there was no way that such a fine tooth comb could even begin to make its way through the mass of fur that is our cat’s coat. But with a little experimentation, we have learned to alter the angle of the comb so that we can accomplish several different kinds of combing and brushing for our hairy friend. First and foremost, if your pet has any fleas you simply MUST use a fine tooth comb like this one to enhance your flea control efforts by removing both dead and live fleas from all that hair. We have always used a brush with our cat, but using this comb to get more of the fine hair from her undercoat has been a revelation for us. Her coat is so much smoother and she seems to have fewer hairballs since we started using this comb. The Resco is a very solid tool that we are more than happy with after two months of heavy use. Highly recommended!
