My Yorkie has skin allergies and her coat gets stiff. She also generates a smell if not bathed often. This shampoo really softens her fur and makes her more comfortable. It smells nice too.

Unable to find in 3 local pet stores. Don’t know what was going on with our chocolate Lab, but she started getting itchy flaky skin (and it wasn’t fleas) so we tried this and it worked well. A bit expensive compared to the junk shampoos on the market but worth it. Smells okay for being medicated and used the same amount as usual shampoos. We bathe her monthly and she swims about 3X per week in a small river/stream. Other than swimming she finds something to roll around in, hence the monthly bathing. We don’t always use this d/t cost but when she’s scratching a lot I switch over to this brand.

My sweet cocker has environmental allergies. The animal dermatologist recommended weekly baths with this shampoo. This contains 4% Chlorhexedine whereas all others I’ve seen only contain 2% chlorhexidine. It has a pleasant subtle apple scent that lathers nicely and is not overly scented.I think bathing weekly with this medicated shampoo and paw soaks have made a huge difference with my dog’s skin irritations as well as following other vet recommendations of course. It helps remove allergens and keep the skin clean to reduce skin irritations. It leaves him smelling fresh, clean and soft without any heavy fragrances.I just wish it wasn’t so ridiculously expensive! that being said I do think this brand Dechra makes very high quality products and I use several other products.

My Doberman was extra stinky, which I believe to be from yeast buildup on the skin. He also had dry skin and some hair loss. After one shampoo, the smell went away for about a week and his coat is looking a lot better about the use again and continue till his yeast issues clear up
