I had tried the popular brand diffuser and after not too long it emitted a terrible burning smell. I saw that it actually begin manufactured in December 2019. I did research on this brand and diffuser and found that it was manufactured in November 2023. I have used this diffuser for about two weeks and I have had no problem with the odor of burning. I am being very cautious about my statement I having only used it for two weeks but from what my experience is, I hope this Information helps. I just reread the instructions for this one and I am going to change it at one month. The way it seems to be going, there will still be liquid left in the bottle but I’m not going to push it beyond the recommendation. My cat is a rescue Bengal who had been kept in a cage and used for breeding only for seven years then given a bad spay and somewhere down the line it had to be down again so she has had two, and put in a rescue group. We were the eighth home she was in because no one would take the time to try to figure her out. Believe me she was a very difficult case to figure out!
